Hehe yeah I have two good friends that are ortopedians. They warned me about Compartment syndrome before my doctors did anything about it. After the op the pressure kept me awake all night, even with pretty heavy dosages of ketorax, oxynorm and oxycontin. I tried telling the nurse that administered the drugs about it but she seemed a bit daft. When the main doctor visited in the morning he immediately sent me to a fasciotomy. There is some nerve damage or at least still blockage on the big toe (directly translated from norwegian, no idea what it's called in english). I can push it down but not lift it up. There is sensitivity there though so I hope I can get it restored with training.
Oh yeah and I'm still riding high on 20mg oxycontin. It's pretty awesome to listen to some weird music and close your eyes. Trippy as hell.
