Right, I had a listen to this. Enjoyed it for the most part, albeit with a couple of wobbles along the way. Really enjoyed the intro section - big and chunky is definitely the word - with that Ambivalent track in particular just screaming "main room, heads down". Things were chugging along steadily and I found myself thinking "This needs to peak soon or I'm going to lose interest". Then the peak did arrive in a rather humongous piece of trance I presume to be that Digital Blonde remix. Maybe I just can't get on with this kind of trance anymore but having wished for a peak, I found it was a bit too much peak. You then did the right thing by following up a big anthem with a thumper from Taucher, but towards the end I began to find these switches a bit jarring. Going from Solar Fields' wide-eyed prettiness into the stomping acid of Awakenings was too abrupt for me, and the sudden switch from the scorching acid goa vibes of Technophyle Denizen to the sunrise festival ending of Jon Hopkins just didn't work, at all.
All in all I think I enjoyed the sweaty field sections the most, and while the attempts to vary it up in the second half were necessary I felt they could have been handled slightly better.
