applying real life experience to real life is unpractical?
...did i read that correctly?

A surgeon should not operate if he has not gone through the same pathology, astrophysicists should not talk about black-holes and other cosmological phenomena because said person has not experienced it.

why does anyone think that adding chemical substances that are made in an industrial factory and enclosed in small capsules is really a proper way or effective way of treating anything?

there are natural cures for every disease.
natural medicine has been practiced and has worked for thousands of years.
pills are used to control and they are used for money.
and pills are notorious for causing diseases, symptoms which are worse then the original disease or symptom.

studies which support pills are funded by the companies which make money off of pills.

your science is corrupt, full of assumptions, and causes vast limitations.

I won't even answer this, since it's an ancient argument which doesn't really lead anywhere.

its not an argument. its the truth. and you avoid it because it makes your modern studies, and modern practice of science look irrelevant and meaningless.

biggest problem with society?

it was built because of the ego, and it stands on the ego of all conformists.

"nature cant possibly be intelligent, only humans can be intelligent and we can only show intelligence with our 'intelligent' science."

Snow Crash was a lot of fun to read, but nothing more. I enjoyed The Diamond Age much more, though. Did you get around to that one, Jack?

SO TAs I didn't want to make another thread.

But the pharmaceuticals are making Paulino stalk the TA thread scaring the shit out of potentially new members. At least my threads are controversial and full political incorrectness. Everything done on purpose, world is a stage, On the other hand,

this...

Juan Paulino guy, listen man, focus on the positive, forget this chick, and move on with your life. Stop spamming and trolling the fucking forums or i'll publish your internet browser history.

Concerned, TA. (Thanks for clicking.)

No, I haven't read any of his other books. Sell the concept to me, if you like.

Wow, thinking back to how excited I was for the first blizzard.

Now this shit just keeps coming! The morale of the city is so low right now. People are at their breaking points. For me personally, I love the epic-ness of it-- but all this snow is really starting to mess with peoples' minds, the commuting lately has been a living hell.

Anyway, potential for blizzard number 2 tomorrow-- already starting to ratchet up outside. Thankfully, I've got 4 cases of beer and some pot.
