My sister thinks I'm being rude and selfish because I refuse to pay more than 200 dollars for a bridesmaid dress for her wedding (which is on the other side of the country, btw). She didn't even bother to consult any of us about how much we were willing to spend in the first place - although she says she asked the other girls and "they don't care." Why didn't she ask me?

Furthermore the dress she wants needs such significant alterations that she may as well have picked out a whole different dress.

I don't think it's so unreasonable to ask that she find a dress that fits the criteria in the first place, at a decent price - is it??

On another note. Just picked up our cat from the vet and he's still a little out of it. Poor little guy. He's looking at me like I'M the one who took his balls.
