On another note, I switched my master schedule at work back in April. I work the exact same type of line but I flipped weekends so my old on days are now my off days, and vice versa. 2 weeks of days, 2 weeks of nights.
Pay day now falls in the middle of my days and nights, whereas before it fell right after either a day rotation was finished, or a night rotation was finished.
What's great about this is my pay is much more evenly distributed now. I get large shift premiums for working nights, as well as evenings and weekends or doing charge, so my pay was always significantly more for that period. Now all that extra money is spread out instead of getting one huge cheque and one shitty cheque.
