Since I wanted to leave academia independently of the terrible job prospects the answer is no. So many things wrong with it in my field...
I can imagine that going to Brazil is an attractive option for others who want to stay in university. Do you have a lot of foreign faculty? Just for comparison, in the countries STEM PhD typically want to go (Germany, France, UK, US) the rough numbers are that 3 out of 20 PostDocs manage to become faculty eventually. So if you have something better than that to offer, with decent funding opportunities, then people should be flocking in.
