Turns out my gym instructor was the best man of the other player's wedding. He had already told me he had a friend playing in South-East Asia, and I knew the player was Brazilian, but I had no idea he was from the district where I live.

Understandably, the guy is devastated

I don't get it. Last semester, I flunked a student for plagiarism. Explained why. This semester she's back and, guess what I've just found?

I can't believe someone doesn't know you're not supposed to "borrow" two entire pages from another work without giving the original author a mere head nod, let alone the proper reference
