Oh, God, I don't know how to tell you this now...
(Can you get gay married in Australia? Do you intend to?)

Ah, congratulations to you both. Sort of lost touch with what people are doing here. |
Thanks!
That's the only meaningful change in my life in the last 5 years or so: Still lecturing at the local university, getting as many degrees as possible, and making incredibly horrible puns

Did you get sick first, or are you being gentle and taking care of them first before they take care of you?

Nope, Australia is too busy mimicking their US big brother for conservative culture, obesity, bad television, god bothering and pitiful economic resource management. Just on a much smaller scale, part of that includes no-homo marriages.
Funnily enough, NZ is totally up for it, conveniently distracting everyone else from the sheep bothering they normally get up to.
Even more funny, I have actually been married once, it didn't last long, it wasn't a good idea, think I paid for most of it and I wouldn't do it again despite it being amicable when it was all over. But damn, I was a heartbreaker in white silk, haha!
I was the only one who got a flu shot this year and it works, it would have been easier to put a needle in a live tiger than HRH and the kids where only slightly better behaved, but otherwise followed her down the path of suffering.
Next year I'll just get the doc to give me the shots to take home and I'll see if I can get a loan from the vet's dart gun.
