Maybe. Could be partially with the pro-feminist culture of Sweden which is often taken to the extreme. Nevertheless, I've lived extensively in two European countries which differ a lot and can say that in Sweden going out at night as a woman is dangerous, something which is not the issue in other countries, as far as I know.

It's immigrants with Muslim backgrounds, that come, often from war zones (read: desensitized), that come to Sweden (and Norway for that matter), are placed into schools, with little regard to the cultural differences. I think Scandinavia, at least Norway, has some of the most gender equal societies in the western world. Women usually get paid the same as men, and I've never ever been under the impression that there are professions women can't do. If anything I might put women slightly above men on the social ladder. I know about half of the men in Norway would disagree with that statement, but I dunno.. I think we're pretty progressive on this field up here in the North. That and a few other ones. But we are in general too hmm trusting and kinda pushovers.. It's like there's no "Enough bullshit"-switch here.

ah med school.. starting pay as an intern or what u call Scrubs-type doctors iiiis.. about 55 thousand euros a year. But start your own practice and youll easily get like 160-170 000..

But those seemed to be the top offenders when we had our rape-spike a couple of years ago. Can't say I've heard about too many rapes lately, apart from when this 16 year old got abducted and killed. An awful lot of people got inspired by that

My intent is to jump into residency (specialization) as fast as possible so money isn't that important for the time being. I do, however, feel it's shitty to pay 33% taxes that go to the welfare of the people who are robbing my home while I'm out working for them. Has happened. My mother's place got robbed twice within one month. She lives the Malmö. The perpetrators? Two 16-year old Iraqis.

Ideal for me would be either Switzerland or England, but learning German is hell and England seems to have the same type of problems Sweden's having as well. I would however like to hook up with a cute English girl who can read to me bed-time stories in an English accent, but that's en entirely different story

And let's be honest, Norwegian isn't the easiest language to understand, verbally, either.

Prolly a bit of both - opportunists, combined with a young and good looking female population are factors, and then the rate itself being so high is probably a higher than normal (comparatively to other countries) rate of reporting.

I have one friend study at USC and she said rapes on campus/housing (albeit usually, but not limited to, date rapes) are a nightly occurrence, if not several cases a night and virtually none go reported. She said out of 11 girls she heard of it happening to only one reported, but only to the school and she wouldn't file a police report.

That's truly terrible for Sweden.

i have a friend that was accused of rape. Now he had a date with this girl. I saw the messages she sent him, he is shy and definitely not sexually aggressive. They had sex, she felt guilty. She claimed rape. He was kicked out of school, his name is forever in print and she ended up admitting that she felt guilty. I mean his life was fucked upside down by american girls that get drunk, act out , and then have to deal with jesus. He never got his tuition back, and despite the charges being thrown out, he was still kicked out of school.

not to diminish what most woman go thru but man, americans are fucked.

On the other hand, i 've known 9 occasions were girls were drugged with GHB. Happened to my girlfriend twice. People should be charged with attempted murder when drugging people that are drinking. They think it will make the girl horney. More drunk. That is the sad part. most of the guys doing it on't realize the actual real outcome.

and the worst part, GHB is a fantastic drug. If you know how to dose it properly, it is no calorie drinking and just tits. It is shitty that douche bag rapey frat boys had to ruin it .
