Legally responsible, I mean. If your name is there as a parent on the birth certificate, I don't see how having marriage on top of it should change anything. I'm pretty sure children born out of wedlock are entitled to some rights if you know who the father is, aren't they?

And Brazil for some odd reason has a lot of stupid paper work for a lot of stupid shit. My mom is always dealing with whole packets of shit from the consulate but whenever we take care of paper work from here it's always like one or two pages. Makes no sense to me.
