I actually prefer it, to be honest. I'm not sure what all that is a function of, but I have at least two candidates: 1.) it's where/how I grew up, so it's what I am accustomed to; 2.) I have what I would call (maybe wrongly so, but not sure) mild to moderate social anxiety. Large crowds/cities/traffic/noise make me feel as though I'm overloaded with too much sensory input. Sounds stupid, I know, but it's overwhelming at times. Rather than try to sort it all out, my mind just sort of panics and goes into lockdown down mode. It's scary, humbling, and humiliating...all at the same time. I've never seen anyone for a "professional" diagnosis, however, so I suppose it could be something different entirely. I just know how I FEEL when I'm exposed to certain situations involving a shit load of stimuli at all once.

Hard to get hit on on the farm. I actually like the country lifestyle; for 2 or 3 days tops.

I live in a city of about 14-15 million dirty chanks. I'm guessing you wouldn't like that.

Probably not. That sounds panic-inducing to me. Here's some irony: even in my little county of 7,000, I actually have fiber-to-the-home. There's an optical network terminal (ONT) mounted to the side of my house with fiber trenched from the pole to the ONT. Go figure.

I have ten 5 year olds making wallets in the guest room.
