End of the Olympics, surprising thee medals on the last day bringing our total to a new record of 36 in total and ending at rank 7 overall.
Nearby countries as Germany, France and Italy ranked just behind us, that's crazy. We didn't even start well. Missed some medals due to positive Covid cases at rowing, stupid errors cycling in the beginning and in general bad performances in the bigger team sports except for the hockey women.
Sifan Hassan (1500m, 5k and 10k) and Abdi Nageeye (marathon) did an amazing job, beautiful how Nageeye encouraged his training buddy running for Belgium to bronze.
It was a joy to watch I must say.

The Netherlands did an impressive job! According to the number crunchers from FiveThirtyEight (who are usually pretty spot on), only Russia did this much better than expected.
We also overperformed, although by a narrow margin, and we had never been this close to the top 10. Anybody else felt like the Olympics are a lot like TA though? Russia was suspended, created an alt account, kept playing, and no one else really cared
