I mean, I'm not saying they may have inspired gruesome series like Squid Game and Hellbound, but there is a link to be made here

Started off having Stoneface & Terminal make all his tunes and I'm pretty sure his stuff after 2006/7 has also all been using a ghost producer too. If I'm wrong about that, hold my hands up. But there are still far more talented producers imo.
Airwave is by far the most talented Trance producer. I'd also add Digital Blonde, Simon Berry (Art of Trance) and Dave Parkinson
Wow I had no idea Alex morph used ghost producers, my world has been flipped upside down to be totally honest lol , that's crazy, I'm going to have to switch my answer , thanks for the info

If you don't believe talent begets popularity, then Amon Tobin, because to me the guy is as talented as he's versatile, much like Thomas Holkenborg. Also, if I recall correctly, neither ever produced progressive house, which is also a plus
If you believe popular acclaim is a sign of talent, then it's got to be one of those Scandinavian pop music whizzes, like Shellback or the folks from Dsign Music. I'm biased towards the latter because they pretty much shaped K-Pop from Trondheim, which is kind of amazing if you think about it.
Amon Tobin deserves more clout considering his discography.
I didn't know producers from Norway had a hand in Kpop.

I absolutely agree.
That being said, I do have an admiration for Nick Bracegirdle (Chicane, Disco Citizens)
Some of his productions and remixes from 96 - 2000 have really stood the test of time IMO
Other personal favourites...Matt Darey (from the handbag through trance to deep melodic 'prog')
Lyndsey Buckingham...
Mutt Lange...
Nick Muir...
Red Jerry...
