50 years later and Cooper was never caught? Wow
It's a pretty crazy story. I had never heard of it until I watched that well-produced video. The fact that some of the money turned up buried along the riverbank is most intriguing. The guy sounded like he knew what he was doing. The only thing that worries me is the effect of gravity on what must have been a HUGE set of balls, lol!

All the evidence suggests he just didn't survive the jump.

I would be shocked if he lived, too, honestly, but damn it's such an interesting story. Many of the Missing 411 stories are compelling, too. I get addicted to that mystery shit almost, lol.

Saw a documentary not long ago where they interviewed people whose relatives have claimed to be Cooper, or who think they knew Cooper. If I remember correctly, one of the stories claims Cooper needed the money for sex reassignment surgery and that the interviewee knew the then already female DB Cooper, who then tacitly through-out the years allowed the people around her to understand she is DB Cooper. This probably isn't even the weirdest of all the theories about whether he survived and how he lived the rest of his days. Surprised if you hadn't heard of him before that though. I thought he's almost like... American folklore.
I like some of Wisecrack's videos, especially the DEEP OR DUMB series:
Shiey's Illegal Freedom series is extremely interesting (to me at least) if you can handle the (sometimes) excessive jump-cuts:
