Headlands 016 with Raf Fender - Sept 9/10 on Pure.FM Progressive
"Headlands" Radio Show
September 9/10 with guest mix by Raf Fender
Hosted by Tim Robert on Pure.FM Progressive
Thursday September 9, 8-10 PM EST, Friday September 10, GMT 00:00 - 02:00
With an emphasis on propulsive rhythms and edgy textures, "Headlands" showcases
the latest in progressive house and features a guest mix each month by both established
and up-and-coming DJ/Producers. This month features a guest mix by Raf Fender.
Paris-based DJ/Producer Raf Fender has created a stir
in progressive house this year via a series of aggressively
energetic tracks and remixes for the likes of Jetlag Digital
and Goosebumps Records. Raf began as a drummer and
percussionist at the age of 12, but after experiencing Ibiza's
Space, Amnesia and Pacha in the summer of 1998, Raf plunged
into DJing and electronic music in search of his own style.
A mix CD by Raf in early 2000 led to a residency at the renowned
Paris night Fluid, and Raf soon became a fixture on the Paris
scene. Subsequently teaming up with John Dixon under the
moniker of Sens Division, Raf began touring underground
clubs throughout Europe. Giving free rein to his passion,
distilling sharp mixes of Iberic and London influence, and
resolutely pumping between progressive, tribal and hard
house, Raf is sure to continue to rock clubs and storm the
charts in years to come.

Headlands 017 with Neftali Blasko - Tonight on Pure.FM Progressive
"Headlands" Radio Show
Tonight with guest mix by Neftali Blasko
Hosted by Tim Robert on Pure.FM Progressive - http://www.pure.fm
Thursday October 14, 8-10 PM EST, Friday October 15, GMT 00:00 - 02:00
With an emphasis on propulsive rhythms and edgy textures, "Headlands" showcases
the latest in progressive house and features a guest mix each month by both established
and up-and-coming DJ/Producers. This month features a guest mix by Neftali Blasko.
Neftali Blasko became interested in the electronic music at age 13, and at the age of 17, influenced by artists
such as Martin Garcia and John Digweed, he took up DJing as a hobby. Not long after, Neftali began to play
parties and ultimately prominent clubs in Mexico. In 2006 Neftali decided to produce his own tracks, which resulted
in his debut EP on BIT Records Mexico. Subsequent releases on Jetlag Digital, Deepsessions Recordings,
Balkan Connection and several other labels propelled him onto the worldwide scene. Support from the likes of
Martin Garcia, Gerardo Boscarino and Frangellico followed, as well as invitations for many radio guest mixes and
the opportunity to play live with artists such as Satoshi Tomiie, Chloe Harris, Thomas Penton and Nicholas Van Orton.
Having demonstrated an impressive stylistic range in his productions and an ever-expanding resume behind the decks,
Neftali Blasko is poised to become a force to reckon with in progressive house circles.
