I have exactly the same thing! Been about 3 days now. First time in my life (never had an ear infection and keep my giant trophy handle like wingnuts pristine too).

I can't hear any mid range at all in my right ear (left is perfect), only some very high frequency and some low bass (although I think I feel that rather than hear).

Really starting to piss me off and now I'm thinking it's a virus or sumfink?

Yeah, I dunno. EVERYONE in my area has been sick the last few weeks, including my whole family. I can't hear subbass frequencies at all atm, and I've got that clogged/rushing sound in my left ear. Real irritating.

You know you hung out on TA too long when someone tells you to hang tough, and all you can think of is "What a bum wrap, for a nice sensitive guy like me."

Oh my god.

I just got the flu vaccine today and the pharmacist said the flu is nothing compared to the whooping cough going around. I didn't believe him at first, I thought that was back in like the Oregon Trail days. He said the vaccine for it it mixed with an updated one for tetanus. Guess I'll get it though, can't hurt, right?
