Nah, it’s probably more a patronising and patriarchal assumption that women are unable to make their own decisions outside this supposed “male description” of attractiveness, or that they do so because of what men want or think. you know who love tits just as much as men? Women. Which you would know, if you actually knew any.
Nothing says “misogynist” like a belief in self-determination. Cretin. |
This is a pointless argument because its solely based on personal opinion, neither of us being female to boot.
I know girls like breasts, they like having them, I get the power dynamic in gender politics and I know that a view of attractiveness is defined obviously by the ability to draw a mate. The great thing about the human species though is that attractiveness is extremely subjective and varying.
What I am arguing is that if a person has to go so far as to get surgery solely to enhance one of these features then its going too far, and at that point they are doing a disservice to themselves because they are foregoing the fact that there are people out there that might enjoy their breast size (or whatever attribute they may be enhancing) as it is and instead are trying to conform to what they conceive as a social norm that is actually outside the curve of normal attractiveness.
But again, this is pointless. Gender politics is entirely ambiguous for the most part because it is so entirely subjective that personal opinion, personal comfort, and differing cultural expectations make everyone have a varying idea of what is "right".
You are not right, I am not right, all we can do is offer opinions on it, and like I said, neither of us are female so yea, we are both being patriarchal right now.
