Had a work party last night and went out after dinner - first to videoke (karaoke but with a screen behind it that displays visuals in the background, lol) and then to some other bar. Got so fucking obliterated drunk omg. Normally I would drunk dial a few people but I was so shitfaced I couldn't figure out how to do it lol.
The guy who runs the karaoke is supposed to email me my performance, if it's really terribly embarrassing I just might post it here! I sang Bizarre Love Triangle.

Nice atmosphere man. Are you using Ableton's reverb? I have trouble getting it to mix properly. x_x

Heh, I get reminded of a Eurotrance cover of that song every time I read the title. Had it on a compilation called "100% Euro Trance 2" my brother downloaded on Napster. It was a radio edit version of this one:
And yea, if you can get hold of the video, please post it!

Lol, omg I just remembered! We had to fill out these slips of paper with our song selection, email, name, and signature (for permission to use the videos or whatever). On mine, for the name, I wrote "see over" and on the back I wrote "When you introduce me, please say GIVE IT UP FOR SKYYYEEE!!" as if I am a stripper. Lmao.

yes, some reverb delay on most things. basically, when i'm in a drum rack, i just add some reverb effects to the hihats/cymbals and claps and leave the kicks alone

The Kakapo is the loudest bird (currently in existence and known to man). The male's mating call can reach 132 db and be heard from over a kilometer away. Unfortunately there are only 124 still alive - they're critically endangered

Ok, so I exaggerated
Sulphur-Crested Cockatoos are very damn loud though, ok?
I do actually know about the Kakapo. Conservationists are trying to create a new habitat for them, I think on the south island of NZ somewhere. Can't properly remember.
