I'm going on a date with "someone special I met last weekend" (remember?) TAs yours truly is slowly, but surely, finding happiness.
I must be honest, over the past six months, my ex-boyfriend and I have been attempting to reignite the relationship. We tried long distance, we promised each other the world.
Reality is harsher and less robust, easier to tackle and collapse, than all our delusions - our mighty castles built on fluff and fantasy, stand no chance when facing cold hard truth.
It was hard to come to the realization that the person you thought you were going to marry is no longer next to you. "Everything has changed", that was Taylor's song we forgot to play.
Life went onwards in its unstoppable course . The stars aligned yet again, Mars and Jupiter oscillated in favor of a new, brave, chance at love. And on Friday, The candlesticks which decorate the night sky shun brighter than ever.
And that beautiful friday afternoon, we locked eyes. The rest as they say, is history.
