I have roomates too, never would i ever thought of actually washing dishes, grocery stocking for extra cash and holding odd part time jobs here and there outside of my career to make this exorbitant rent, but this city changes you. It puts everyone on an equal footing, where you have to make more to stay and/or figure out how to beat the game without cash.

You can't leave, there is no place like this on earth, you belong and must stay, and that drives you to do things you never thought you would. It's hard to explain, almost a religious experience...

so there is luxury, but there is sweat. The good looks help, and the pretty ones are always there to brighten your day. At the end of it all, when your lease is up ... bitches gotta get paid.
