I just read about that. States that the best viewing time will be just before dawn on August 13.
Those sound like ideal conditions for you. I'd stay out there all night freezing my ass off watching.
I'm going to try to wake up (or stay up) to catch it tomorrow AM.

I'm still in awe about the meteor shower. I'm not really a bucket list kind of person, but if I had one I def would have had to put "watch live meteor shower" on it and then cross it off. So cool!!

We're actually heading up North tonight for the weekend and will have even better viewing, even though it peaked last night.
Fuck. Why did I think tomorrow was Friday the 13th. I missed it
But yea, totally cool stuff. I love the cosmos. I saw the Aurora Borealis in northern Ontario a decade ago. So beautiful.

You can still view it tonight and until the end of the week starting at 10pm EST and best viewing, like last night, is between 2-4 am/before dawn.

There's one every August. If you're in the Northern hemisphere (I assume you are), you just need to keep track of the dates because I'm not sure it happens every 365 days - it's probably one of those movable events like Easter.
I've always tried to see those buggers here, but I guess I'm too down South to see a proper show
