Some of the people I know that joined it weren't the type I thought would fall for it. It's hilarious when they defend the legitimacy of the venture from accusations of it being a pyramid scheme; "It's not a pyramid scheme because pyramid schemes are illegal!"
Anytime half of the sales pitch is devoted to saying it's not a scam, it is.
