As I've made it very clear here, I'm extremely pro American, but I will not vote for Bush again. I agree with his policies towards Iraq, but that is about it. Here are the reasons why:
1. Withdrawing from 5 peace treaties since he took office. Some widthdraws were manditory for US security, but he didn't do any PR to smooth it over.
2. Refusing to talk with North Korea. We should never, ever step away from peace talks.
3. Not traveling to other countries and meeting other presidents/prime ministers. Alienating some countries in the process.
4. Bad Charisma. At least Clinton was a good public speaker and he had charisma.
5. Not being vocal. A US president needs good Public relations and lots of it.
6. Saying that we will send billions in aid to Africa for AIDS.
7. His crappy/extreme "just say no" type stance on drugs.
8. Giving citizenship to Mexican illegal immagrants. They are here illegally, they are breaking the law, why reward that?
9. No giving states more money for the war on terrorism/security
10. For not promoting our efforts in Afganistan more.
Your ideas please... |
Wow someone else who thinks the same way Also very pro american and I agree with Iraq, but I too will not be voting for Bush again. The things he did, needed to be achieved with force yet it could have been handled far more diplomatically.
