I'm in search of a mixer (for trance mixing, no scratching) that's relatively low cost, but is still in good shape to last about 1 or 2 years at the most, for a beginner. It only needs 2 inputs, don't need fx, low, mid, high are a must, kills on EQs are a must, beatcounters are prefered. Age is no object as long as it mixes nicely.
I posted in this Forum because I want to get only from TAs or places in Toronto that I can get to to maybe see it before I buy or pick it up myself. Private or store purchases are both cool to me. budget = less than $480 CDN.
PLEASE PM ME IF YOU/A PLACE CAN SELL/HELP.
I suggest you look into the low-end Behringer line, they're really quite good for the price. Around $200-300 for the VMX-200 and VMX-300, give or take $50 or so. I don't know the exact price. They have some at Steve's music at Queens, I think, and Metro might have some (but not the last time I was there).

dont' have prices on the website, but u can go down to the store and check it out.
I find them to be a huge Rip off for mixers and Turntables considering that they are used. Their tables come with NO carts. ther are some new places on Queen (one beside The condom Shack, beisde unifersity and queen and city TV). As well there is another one further down closer to Steve's Music that just opened a while back. Check them out. The one beside condom Shack is VERY WELL PRICED for new stuff. They sell Midi controller starting at 199. I Highyl reccomend it. Place is run by a couple of guys from Montreal. Very nice blokes there

true, but you can find really good deals, like for example I got my vestax 275 and still paid 90 Canadian $$$ for duties and it still came out more than 200 less than I would pay here in Toronto...
