Jester Deep Dish questions...

Hey Tranceaddicts, I was wondering if you could help me out with providing some information on DeepDish. I am going to see him/her/they/it this Friday in Washington DC and I have no clue what type of music he/she/they/it plays. If you could give some info along with maybe your favorite song by DeepDish, I'd appreciate it, thanks.

P.S. Deep Dish is playing at "Nation" in SE DC if anyone is interested this Friday.

They came to Perth recently, but I didn't really go & see them. They usually play a deep progressive style of house I guess, not something that I'd personally go to a big party for, but we all have our own opinions.

Very good house w/ some deep and progressive flavor. IMO, they're probably one of the best out now. See them!

Thanks for the info guys, I'm definitely into house and deep house as well. If you could just name one or 2 songs from them that you feel best represent their style, I would appreciate it, thanks again, I'll let you know how their performance is.

Yeah, deep dish will be amazing this friday, their DC appearances are never anything short of awe-inspiring. They mix it up with some trance, deeper progressive, and alot of deep/techy house. ALOT housier than Sasha/Digweed, but very very original.

I saw Deep Dish spin in LA a few weeks ago -- quality 4-hour set of deep, churning progressive house. They're based in the DC area, respected worldwide. Ali "Dubfire" and Sharam, both solid djs and producers. Love their Brother Brown remix the most, also recommend one of their newer ones:

Dido - Thank You (Deep Dish Mix)

Their latest double-cd mix comes out June 19th, Yoshiesque 2.

They've done a Compliation called Renaissance Ibiza and it's VERY funky. Really great to play at a party or something. Pretty damn good!

They will be up in Toronto in July I believe...I can't wait to check them out.

Their remix of Sven Vath's Barberella (sp?) is soooo nice!
