Can anybody tell me anything about this place? Besides it closes @ 2am. How long will PVD spin here??

I worked there for 3 years. Its primarily dead now with only 200-400 people going except for big names now

he'll only spin for 2 hours? That sux! What's the crowd like? How about the dj booth and crowd vibe? Can we see him or stand in front of the booth? Or is he hidden? Just wondering...

you can stand right behind the booth and take pics. The crowd there sucks now as they got rid of the dress code years ago, plus its 18+, just go for Paul and you will have a good time. 2 hour set = thumping trance with no prog

excellent!! Thats the only reaason i'm there for... is for Paul... Flying back down to DC for his GLOW performance the next day. Are cameras allowed?

avalon is imo one of the nicest clubs to see pvd. awesome vibe..perfect size...

even though you only see pvd for 2 hrs.. it's worth it imo! i've seen him twice there..both times worth it!

its 19+, its usually always packed no matter who spins...expect 2 1/2 hours of PvD.....booth area kinda sucks if u ask me but u can get close. oh and the dress code is enforced again...no hats, sneakers idk, jeans i think MIGHT be ok but i dunno, i always just wear cargos and shoes to be safe...enjoy

i saw tiesto there and was disappointed that at 1:40 they were kicking him off the turntables....they literally took the record off the turntable and wanted everybody out by 2! this killed me, his set was just warming up and he didn't want to stop
the club itself is pretty nice, it's clean and just the right size...but there is nowhere to sit unless you are vip for the night unless this was just for tiesto i don't know..i do know that it pissed me off because i wanted to sit down at times. But, anyplace is a place to see PVD....you make the best of a good time

It's always 12:00am-2:00am that the headliner plays, I've never had the problem of them ending at 1:40...??? Last time I saw PVD he went 'till about 2:10am-2:15am, still sucks to end so early though. As far as the VIP area I've always gotten in, give it half an hour and enter from the upstairs if you have any trouble : ). The club is nice, but just go to enjoy the music and have a great time!

so there is there anywhere to sit? how does someone like me, your average joe, get VIP?

I don't doubt you and it still sucks to end a set at 2:15.....but i kid you not they kicked tiesto off the turntables at like quarter to 2...i remember because my friends and i were like "holy shit, they took him off the tables...what time is it?" and we realized it wasn't even 2:00 yet...it sucked anyway i didn't even try to get in VIP it looked like they weren't letting just anyone in....i usually don't have a problem with VIP either, but it didn't look welcoming...i did have a good time....the music and my friends made it a good time...i just wouldn't go back there from my one and only expereince one more thing....i hated that every girl looked the exact same....no one there had their own individual style, you don't see that in NYC
