Orkidea is becoming the first Finnish DJ to release an artist album. The album, titled 'Taika - Selected Works '99 - '03' is released through Universal Music on October 27th featuring a selection of his sought after own productions as well as remix contributions for others artists. The track list is as follows: 1. 'Inner Peace' 2. 'Unity' 3. 'Beautiful' 4. 'Melancholy' 5. 'Stage One' (Space Manoeuvres) 6. 'Flight 643' (Tiesto) 7. 'Rush' (Aalto) 8. 'Labyrinth' (Leama).

It's about time, but is this really what we wanted?
A double cd of tracks he's been making since 99?? I'd rather see a compilation. And I doubt this artist album will get him the recognition he deserves. But who the fuck knows.
Of course, Unity & Stage One will be the highlights of the album, but the rest will be as good.
The bad news is that this will be only for the Finnish market, but maybe, maybe we can do something about it, if everyone creates a buzz around this album? Who knows?
