I just listened to Your Power Is Fading.

Your percussion is very weak, that bass drum needs to hit me with something. Your synths patterns are pretty well thought out, but you need to tweak them so they don't sound so amateur. Some of them just sound pre-canned.

I like the break down at around 3:40. I dislike the vocals, they don't add anything. When you build the percussion back in at 4:10 or whatever, have a drum roll or something instead of just fading it in. Adds more energy.

Lots of mastering needs to be done to make it sound cleaner, but I don't know anything about that, you'll have to get others to help you.

Thanks for the input. I can't say I agree with all of it but I will definately return to the song.

Someone tell me about mastering... anything stand out as far as you can tell? What am I doing wrong?

Actually, nm on the mastering for that song. That was back in the dark ages of my mastering. Check out the other songs for my current mastering skills and tell me if you think there's something I can do to improve.

BTW: DJ Dingle,
How do my synths sound pre-canned? You mean lack of effects or store-bought? Cuz almost all of them were developed from strait oscs...

Thanks.

Yea, they just sound like something that would come with the software. Even if they've been built from scratch, they end up just sounding..... not professional/pretty.

DJ D: Alright, I guess that's fair. I'll work on them.

Any opinions on the other songs, anyone?
