i agree.. however, i think there are more DC ppl/events than northeast[excluding nyc..]

if you mentally move borders southward, then DC can also become the northeast...

i think it should be called 'New York City/Washington DC/N. East USA' like under chicao section of usa, its 'Chicago/Detroit/& N. Central USA'... i feel then, it will be fair for everyone..
