just an fyi - if I were a dj I'd prefer a longer set rather than a brief set. Spinning for 30 minutes isn't very long, probably only 3-5 records. Is this a one time deal or will you be holding more of these type events? Maybe it would be better to book fewer DJs per event to give each more time to build their own sound... just a thought. |
yeah i totaly understand. i don't want the sets to be 30 min either. but it all depends on how many people we have sign up. and its already looking like we have a good amount.
i'm gonna try to make the sets as long as i can.
i'll have a sched written up soon and there will be a cutoff for new peeps to sign up.
i'm hoping to make this more than a one time thing. problem is ground zero, where we are holding the event, is booked pretty much for the rest of this semester.
depending on the success of this event, we may turn this into a biweekly thing next semester.
