Thumbs up how music UNITES the world

I just think it's great how a guy in Iran could be so moved by EDM. Maybe he even gives CDRs to his friends there.
Most of you must know the situation in Iran with the oppressive government there that hates outside Western influences, and tortures/imprisions people for reading US newspapers etc.

Here's my convo with an Iranian guy:

i prefer saeed & palash or howells progressive style
than john diggy gay stuffs
<[1mbit]karb0n_dioxide> saeed ?
<[1mbit]karb0n_dioxide> echomen or low end specialists?
<[1mbit]karb0n_dioxide> or neither
Echoman is great producer
<[1mbit]karb0n_dioxide> i ment the digweed kiss100 shows
i have all of thier artworks
<[1mbit]karb0n_dioxide> do u have substance?

I've been talking to him some more, and he says he is a DJ there.
They have underground parties there where the police don't know about.

Really, I had no idea something like that was possible in Iran. That's very nice.

They couldn't have achieved what they have without coming to the US (or a western country) first. They are all good friends though.

Hmm I'm not sure what you mean, but at the very least it (and other factors) are eroding the power of the islamic radicals of Iran like water erodes a canyon.
