The space inside was quite comfortable for the amount of people you'd see in the line up. The urban room was a lot more packed than downstairs. I must have waited 2 and a half hours in the line up, but I think it was about 45 to 60 minutes in the ticket holders line. Heck, there was even a line up for VIPs at one point!
Since I only catch 20 minutes of Marco's set, I can tell much about him. As for Christian Smith, he was good, but I personally prefered the set he played last year at an Advanced party, I can't remember which one thought. Danilo set was really intense, bass driven and people were really into what he played. I don't know for you, but would it have been cool to hear Halloween referenced tracks during the night, or death laughs? I know it might have had turned a little bit cheesy and clubbish, but it'a an Halloween party, right? anyways...
I noticed the sound was better, and for once, my ears didn't ring that much when I got out of there. Throughout the night, the Vjs played movie samples of Tron and The Fantastic Voyage which I found kinda cool to see. The Tron Light Cycle sequences were at their best with the banging techno playing in background, and I wouldn't be surprise to rent the movie in a coupla days
As for the Halloween theme, well, there was about maybe 1:9 ratio of disguised people. For that matter, if any girl who reads this review up to here, please god tell me why do you keep your thigh boots hidden in the closet untill Halloween? Because, I spotted too many girls with these boots downtown and can't help but think you all posess a pair but are too shy to wear them other days in years. Heck, we know you're not whores, so, why not? You look so good with them...lol Just kidding
Yeah, so that's pretty much about it. Almost forgot, the chick dancers did an honest job entertaning the crowd, and so did Malek with his «Giving Head prevents breast cancer» T-Shirt

and the chebizzzzzz
btw marco started, danilo ended. |
damn ure right i didnt remember how Marco and Vigorito look like...
so this means that Carola's set was imo equal to Smith's even if at the end it was a bit repetitive, he played some really hard and unknow techno (well, to me). im sure its really hard to mix so i can say he was almost mixing perfectly. i dont remember a tune but i know i knew a couple, i know there was one wicked track i heard in a set of mauro or Sven vath Master i will need some help here As for Smith he was REALLY good, much more in the vibe dancing a little bit. He spun funkier tracks, more tech and some tech-trance well tech with some very good break melodies. i enjoyed his set the most he was really putting more energy in the place. Btw props to whoever change the sound settings so its not ringing in my ears at all now, the bass is much better too as for Vigorito i was very tired and i just enjoyed when he spun Murder was the bass cause he was boring not at all showing some smile or dancin so i benched for the major part of his performance...
i remember many tunes that i know put cant say the names im just sure that u spin me round was spun i think by Carola and it was very cool to hear this JpX was very pleased to hear it...
BUT AND THERE A BIG BUT, what was the ?%#%!%$!%$#@ problem with the line-up, i mean ive never waited so long without moving @ ARIA we got there at 1h15 and we entered at 3h30 we understood we had to shift the line cause some people were givin money to the bouncers to get in, i saw from my own eyes the bouncer asking how much he would get to let someone's friend in. i really dont understand its not good for ARIA's image the whole line-up didnt move 3meters in 2hours and there was people getting in. we had to say to a bouncer that we were waiting for more than 1 1/2 hour so his conscience felt bad and he let us in. theres no way it should work like that, normally the bouncers arent friendly but i realize its much better so people that waited the longest get to enter first that makes sense no? i would have been very angry no to get in just because some people wanted to make money on that night.
great night because we got in and thx to Zing for the ticks i hope u, NAcht & Malek enjoyed ure night, nice to see u guys for the rest of TAS where were u???? we missed the TAS yesterday
