Listen to songs on mp3 before u buy em and get a taste of what your getting (And indeed to find out what u like)
Some easy to mix songs would be tunes that arent too thick at the start and end, (Riva - Stringer and Mo`Hawk - Previous Years) which also gives u good few minutes starting up and cooling down to get the mix in.
Progressive id say would be easier to mix than say some thick uplifting trance.
Hope that helps, also theres a quality guide at www.recess.co.uk that recommends getting 2 of the same track in starting to learn how to dj.
