Initial releases and high rotation radio madness on Australia's national Triple J broadcaster led to live appearances with Underworld, Chemical Brothers, Carl Cox and Darren Emerson. The release of 'Spike', a record which cleverly made a voice-over professional with a lisp sound mysterious, marked the beginning of several loving friendships, as Danny Howells, Pete Tong, John Digweed and Sasha all wore out their copies and asked for more. More clubland hysteria followed and Australia saluted their own as they nominated Infusion for an unprecedented 5 awards at the DMA's in 2001 - Best Single, Best Album, Best Video, Best Producers and Best Live Act. Meanwhile, the rest of the world quietly bought up huge quantities of more Infusion releases, including 'ISBN/On The Outside' and 'The Fallen Angel' EP. In 2002 Infusion were invited to tour overseas, quickly evolving into spending one third of the year playing in clubs like Fabric, Spundae, Centro-fly, Japanese mountain festivals and enjoying glow in the dark disco ten-pin bowling in Tokyo on their days off

So they either had equipment problems of just an off day...(which didn't seem to be the case at all after reading the reviews).

The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all change to silver glass...and then you see it...
...white shores...and beyond...the far green country under a swift sunrise."
