Dunno Technics question ???

Yesterday I recieved my (2)Technics SL-1200 MK5 I was really happy but at the same time I felt like a F***ing ignorant, they come with some many stuff which I don't how to set up . I used to have a pair of Numark 1620, when I got 'em everything was so easy .
I need some help !
1st)What's the best way to set up the tone arm using Shure White Labels (tone arm height, armlift height and balance weight)
2nd)What the hell should I do with the "rubber"slip mat (technical name is disc slip sheet ) the reason why I'm confused is because one is rubber and one is transparent what's the difference? should I use both ?
3rd) EP Record adaptor ? no clue what it is
4th)Overhang Gauge ? Same as above

That's it for NOW !!

Thank you guys

1) There's plenty of guides around that explain setting the tonearm up properly.
2) The rubber mat should just be taken off, you want it to be a record laying on a slipmat laying on the platter.
3) EP record adaptor is pretty much unneeded, it's for those lil records.
4) The overhang gauge is used to align the carts on the headshell, it gives you the correct overhang

the clear thing is a piece of wax paper made to be put under the slipmat to make cueing easier

I have my 1200 Mk5 and Shure Whitelabel set to 2g tracking, 2g antiskate, and 3 mm tonearm height. It may or may not be the optimum setting, but it seems to work fine.
