the m3d's have a reset button which brings the pitch back to normal. the neat feature about that is you can leave the pitch control at a desired point, and still play at normal pitch.
they also have recessed power control so you can't hit it by misstake, and a cover that just sits, no hinges or anything -- so its easy to remove.
the m3d runs like 50 or so more. I think thats the only major diff. I own the m3d's and have no probs...
i'd throw down the extra 50 or so and get the newest model which is the m3d's. i mean the technics arent exactly cheap, so whats an extra hounded?
