Anyone else have problems burning Cubase audio mixdowns??
I posted a couple days ago about a problem I was having, and after numerous CDs and several different tracks (at different levels and rates)...I have decided that the problem I'm having is with the audio that is produced when you do a mixdown in Cubase.
When I burn my tracks, the CD will work fine in anything except CD players (portable discmans). When they are played in CD players the sound is either really distorted, or just crappy. I've normalized it, limited it, even turned the master way down..but any wav or MP3 file I make from a mixdown in Cubase doesn't want to work in any CD player. Seems to work fine in computers and stereos though.
I know it's not the writer or CDs because I've tried burning other stuff and it works fine. I would normally just ignore this and start sending the CDs out, but it has to be a problem with only my tracks that are made in Cubase (cuz like I said, other stuff works fine) and I'd really like to know why!
If anyone has ANY idea what could be going on, I'd love a response. This has been driving me nuts for almost a week - not too mention causing 10+ CDs.
Thanks!
