im lookin for tunes with synths like Eon - Pocket Damage or somethin vaguely close to that. i love that sound. im kinda tired of that cliche trance synth and im lookin for more tunes like pocket damage. \

The JP-8000 lead you speak of is one of the most overused synths in trance, and EVERYBODY and their mother is using it. Thankfully if it continues, it will die out in another year or two (hopefully).

There are a few tracks out there that lack it that I dig, but many might rail on as being boring (because it lacks that lead/sound):

There are a couple others that are coming out this week that impressed me as being quite unique. I think one was the new one on Captivating Sounds and to a lesser extent the new on on ASOT (the label).

Most of these are stuff I stock at a record shop just north of ya in Madison, WI if you're ever in need of tunes on vinyl.

Also, I gotta club night up here where you can hear stuff like I mentioned, if you're ever heading north (and are 21+). Check the Local Scene forums for the Detroi/Chicago/N. Central forums for the downlow.
