Nelly Furtado - Powerless

In accordance with the other "Make this song a famous remix because I think it'd be good" thread, I come to you all with this suggestion and set of questions.

Ever since I heard this song, I've been interested in how a trance remix of it would go (Insert random Homestar Runner Techno comment here). I've thought about it over and over and just can't imagine what it'd be like nor could I think of an artist who would tackle this project.

Now the questions: Is there a trance remix of this song out at the moment? Are any artists planning to remix this?

Discuss.

NOTE: Before rainbow_marble can get here, YES, I am a moron... but I won't shut up.

true... when I heard the tune a few months ago... i thought 'what a great remix could do the job here!!'. I got the acapella, but i think the tempo of the song and text is not really suitable for a dance track (i changed the tempo to 131... sounded like shite :P)... I would like a Leama & Moor remix, tho

Its slightly possible.. but a lot of the lyrics would have to be cut out... something could be done with the part "say what you want". maybe i'll mess around with it.

This would rock on a large scale. Here's hoping.

this song has a very corny, cheesy and cliched feel to it. especially those horrid vocals

so yes, a trance remix would fit this perfectly

i like this song. i'd love to see someone redo this with some mad bass and funky beats the funk einsatz - punk style, that would be dandy.
