I let my friend borrow my atmosphere a few days ago, he says he installed it correctly and to his Fruity Loops VST plugin folder... He claims that he dosen't know how to open it in fruity loops... From my past experiences i would assume it would be dragged to a channel on the Fruity loops arrange area and then you would go from there... Anyone got any exact directions on how to open it? I'm not there with him so i dont know what he see's.

You shouldn't let your friends borrow your music software.. it's illegal... and "TrancEaddict does not support piracy."
It's my copy of Atmosphere, i purchased it so i can do what i want with it. And i do not support non-productive anwsers... So if you can't help me, please do not bother to post.

not exactly.. did you bother to read the end user agreement? legally, it can only be installed on the purchaser's computer.. it is like that with almost all software..
tell him not to use Fruityloops, it doesn't even support Vanguard..
How do you install Atmosphere on more than one computer. I thought it comes with a challenge-response thing.

From Spectrasonics FAQ.
I work at a production music studio with several other composers/producers. Can we all use Stylus from our main server?
No. It's very important to know that each composer must have his or her own copy and license for Stylus. We make regular checks to verify that large production studios have obtained the proper licenses for our instruments and sample libraries.
As a studio owner, can I include Stylus on a rental or studio computer for studio clients to use on their projects?
No....the license to use Stylus is only granted to the buyer. If it is your own recording project that you are producing, of course that isn't a problem…but your studio clients aren't licensed to use it for their own projects, and Stylus use can't be "rented".
Can my writing partner use a copy of my instrument on their computer?
No....the license to use Stylus is on a per-person basis. They would need their own copy of Stylus to use it on their computer.
Can I resell Stylus used to someone else?
No, the sounds are licensed ONLY to you. You cannot transfer the sound license to someone else, and so you cannot sell it used. If you sell your computer, you must delete it from the hard drive

Well theres 2 ways. First is just adding it as a channel. Click channels/add 1/more, then click refresh then fast scan. This method does not work for all synth. So if it doesnt, add a midi out channel and set its port to whatever u want. Get a free mixer track and add the synth like any other plugin (ull have to do select/more/refresh/fast scan for it to show up). Then when its loaded in a mixer track set its port to the same as the midi out channels port, and draw ur notes in the midi outs piano roll to use it.
If u wanna use effects on the synth just add them in the mixer track after it.

Didn't know that thing about installing plugins in mixer tracks. Thanx for that.
@ alanzo: FL is working fine with me and my vanguard, so I don't understand why you can't install vanguard on it...

Yes, it's an inherently hypocritical policy, but it's still the policy =P
