Techno with a heavy tribal influence - this is the result of someone putting off doing a take-home test. Unmastered, but other than that virtually finished. Any and all comments appreciated.
needs some work. you could do something with transitions a little more creative then fade in and out, mix up the drums a bit. Technically it has some stuff wrong with it, very little panning, are any of the synths or samples stereo? Bass line could use a little more bounce, body, and well defined stereo image. is that main drum rhythm thing a sample? cus it kinda stands out from the rest of the work.
OK!
now the good stuff,
nice vision, very awesome samples or patterns. Everything meshes up pretty well. im no expert on bass drums but i like the one you used or made. get red of all the synths and stuff and you have a drum line that im really liking.
OK!
i dont know enough though wait for someone good to review it...

It’s very promising! Though needs some tweaks here and there I feel. Love the way you bring everything in. The melody loop is sounding very nice, as is the little piano trill you have at some of the breaks. However, the reversed kick is much too loud in comparison with the regular kick, it even sounds like it clips! The perc lines need mixing up a bit more too I think, much harsher filter sweeps, possibly some effects if you can make it sit right. I feel a false ending for this track would sound cool, strip it down so it sounds like it’s over then slam it back in for more. Don’t like the way you get rid of the bass, sounds too harsh for my ears.
If you ever finish/master this, I’d deffo like to hear the final product. PM might be sent about this soon.
Oh, and how’d the test go?
