Armin Only 7 Hour on Ocean Diva [17-Apr-2004] REVIEW

Hello Mates,

Oh my !!! I cannot find the words and my ears are still tinkling.
SO, It's been the BEST and BIGGEST Armin party that Amsterdam/Holland/World has ever seen !!! Hey trust me, definetely IT WAS !!
I arrived there with my friends at about 10 o clock. At that time the ship was not so crowded. And the music Armin played was soft but ya know it was the begining of the party. After a while it got harder. And then the ship was FULL OF people.
Before that party I thought the set would be full of uplifting and vocal stuffs and maybe some progressive, but after midnight we got SOOOOOOOO HARD music. It was really AMAZING. There was a guy (I guess from the UK) drumming the whole night and indeed trance buildups with that rythm was really cool. Well I have heard some stuffs from Armin's weekly ASOTS and some older stuffs, but dont ask me for playlist
At about 1 o clock the ship left the coast of Amsterdam Sloterdijk and we returned at approximately 4 o clock. During that time I can say without exaggeration we got the BEST TRANCE and PROG music from Armin.

BIG GREETINGZ to the group from CZECH Republic with the large CZECH FLAG. It was so good to see you, you were in Budapest as well on March Also BIG GREETZ to that two ASOT tranceaddicts from GERMANY !
And of course to all the people !
It is a shame I was the only Hungarian, I hope not.

I have made some videos & pictures, they are coming online soon.

Thanx to Armin and the drummer guy for the awesome party
Keep ARMINIZING,

-The crowd was all excited and in a really good mood
-The security was very friendly
-The drummer added some flavour to the music although at some point it got too much
-Armin played hard and the soundsytem supported him in the best way possible
-The boat was really big and the interior looked awesome
-The toilets were clean, the staff enjoyed doing their job
-Drinks were served in glasses, almost no waiting at the bars

When Armin played ATRC at the end, everyone was singing along

I agree with you all guys!
The party was really amazing! Crowd, really great, all fans of Armins I guess, with everybody lifting hands in the air, singing along...

The drummer was from the UK, I confirm that. That was really nice! I found that original, and added something great to the whole atmosphere!
Maybe it was a bit too much sometimes, near the end, but nice!

And yeah, no waiting at the bars, everything clean, friendly people...
Was hard to think we were all actually on a boat

With my 3 friends (two from France, one from the NL), I had the chance to check out the Ocean Diva around 7pm before the party began! Was great, we talked to the guys who were still preparing everything. I took some photos of that, too, should post them!

Armin was incredible, just so nice and friendly, always smiling, shaking hands with everybody, signing flyers, even t-shirts...wow...just great

My dutch friend took some very nice pics, a view from behind the decks, as seen by Armin because he's tall and managed to find the right angle, so you can see the mixer, turntables, CD-decks, his record case, his CDs...sweet !

Anyway, we all had a great night
Thanks to Armin and all the clubbers!
