You might be thinking "wtf is this dude's problem", but actually I'm quite new to this genre. So, let me start on this.
I finally managed to get hold of 3 sensation white tix so I'm going with my girlfriend and a friend from good ol' Florida It will be our first time attending the event... There are few things I'm concerned about :
1. Location. Once we're in the outskirts of Amsterdam coming from the highway, how long do you think it takes to make it to the ArenA? Take into account all those party people, traffic, etc...
2. Dress code. Is it really that strict? I don't mind dressing up in all white, but does this mean that a blue logo or a black stripe can't be visible on our dresses?
3. Weather. How is the weather in Amsterdam around that time of the year? You think I could just go in light shorts and flip-flops?
4. Punctuality. Gates open at 9pm. Should I get there before 9 or are we good until 10pm? Are the lines long? Does the first Dj start @ 10pm on the dot?
5. Duration. So the event is about 9 hours long, right? (10-7) How the heck do you guys stay up partying that long? I have done 4-5 hour parties, but not 9! A case of Red Bull will help, I bet...
That's it for now. Thanks for anyone who takes the time to help me out here. There are definitely more questions coming...

1. THe arena is in the outskirts of amsterdam, traffic isnt a problem there is a 3 stroke highway and also a huge parking space under the arena
2. Well dresscode is white, so you cant come in whith a totally blue shirt and black pants. If you wear white shirt and white shirt then a blue logo isnt a problem
3. Well it is summer then but you can never trust on dutch weather. But since you will go by car and park you car under the arena you wont be standing outside long wainting in line for the entrance. The ArenA is a stadium with a roof so it won´t rain in there.
4. well it opens at 9 and the first djs start spinning at 10. When the clock reaches 10 o clock the dj starts spinning right away. I dunno about lines but the sensation audience arent that kind of partypeople. Al lot of people enter the arena later in the evening, like midnight or later! But I suggest coming early I always like it when I am there from the start and seeing the whole place filling up.
5. 9 hours isnt a problem when you have eaten well and slept well before the event! At the party itself there are al lot of bars and fastfood stands were you can eat and drink. But remember you cant walk outside and just walk in. When you leave the arena there is no chance getting back in!
I hope you will have a nice time and save some money for next year and go to a real good party like dance valley or mysteryland. Those are a lot better than sensation but well thats my opinion

Location - are you going by car or train? Normally it's no problem
Dresscode - it is no problem if you have a blue logo and so on.
Weather is normally very good at this time of year, but keep in mind it might be a bit chilly when you leave - after dancing for some hours and sweating it might be a good idea to bring a sweater or so.
The first DJ starts at 22.00, and normally there's not many people there then. But beware there will be a rush around/from 23.00.... So somewhere in between...
There will be Red Bull and other energy drinks for sale inside, so don't worry about that. They also sell food. So you can keep your energy level going. To last that long most of the people there do drugs actually...most of them - not all!
We went both to White and Black last year and the organisation of everything is very good. It's a great party so you have something to look forward to! HAVE FUN!

I suggest to get a lot of sleep the days before |
Yeah, I'm planning to get to Holland around thursday night, so I can have 2 days of good sleep. Good to know that there are food stands... I always need to munch on something
Anywho, do TA members differentiate themselves somehow from other people? Colorcoding, facepainting, etc... I would love to meet some of you in person!
My girlfriend is not really into trance, more of a funky/rmb person. For this reason we are getting there early, hopefully we get in before Morillo starts so she can enjoy the beginning of the party and hopefully she won't notice as Morillo is replaced by PvD Most she ever partied was like 3 hours, hope she is not going to say: "I'm tired, let's go home..." Any cure?
btw, I don't do drugs, neither my girlfriend and other friend
