We had a man sent off early in the game against holland so we had little option but to play a defensive game, because zambrotta provides all the width for the italian team. It's not our fault that your team are shite at hitting penalties.

besides if anyone was lucky, it was france for getting a penalty 2 minutes before the end of extra time.

Italy always plays a defensive game. And when a team misses 2 penalties and hits the post 2 times I call that lucky.

And The Netherlands overclassed the Italian team by a mile

But at the end of the day, no matter who played better we won and you lost. Learn to take penalties and you may do better,

They won the U-21 competition, but in my opinion they won't win senior's EURO 2004! :P Quarterfinals is the best what they can do!
