Ok, well I've seen afew vids of the Tech CDJs in action and the scratch sound to them was HORRIFYING, well I have now found this video, and they seem to sound fine to me, so what the HELL IS GOING ON, maybe the other CDJs were prototypes or something and this one is the finished product, or maybe Technics did alittle tweeking and fixed the digital sound problem, anyway check this out.
This is a Quicktime Movie and is 46Megs so 56k beware. The Truth????

True, its not perfect, but its a major improvement over the older vids, and you never know, f they can improve it this much, maybe they can make it as good as the pioneers.

i will be very dissapointed if they don't sort it out.. especially with all the hype that surrounded them.. and given the price tag i think if it doesnt get sorted out SOON then they will die of death.
maybe its the kick in the complacent back-side of technics that they have needed since their heads got stuck up their arses when they invented the mk2?

Hmmm, so I guess the video is showing that the digital distortions are primarily taking place when playing MP3s? Interesting...
the digital scratch is created with the "pitch lock" ON.
the other videos dont put the pitch lock on so obviously its gonna sound fine.
havent u been paying attention to the original video comparing the 3 players w/ digital pitch lock on?

I've watched the video with all 3 and heard scratching with and without pitch lock. The Technics sounded pretty fake compared to the other 2 in either mode.
