no the song isn´t for a movie.

pvd and Peter Heppner saw a german documentary movie about the world championship 1954 in switzerland and get the idea to this track.

it's a very interesting song and video!

It shows how Germany managed to stay united through the last 50-60 years. The video starts with scenes from Dresden after it was bombed in 1943 (if I remember it right) and then they show the building of - and the destruction of - the berlin wall.

To be honest, I think the Germans (particularly the east) have suffered a lot more the last 50 years than the jews during the war...

I´m not sure if the first pictures are from dresden but the bomb attack was in the night from 13. to 14. february 1945.
in the last days of the second world war.

the video shows also scenes from the first world championship title against hungary 1954 and scenes when the built the wall between east and westgermany
and also when the wall fall in 1989
