my wireless card in my laptop is 802.11a,b, or g? i got it from school, so i have no clue....i got it last september, so i dont know what version it could be. i want to buy a wireless router so i can hook up my laptop(wireless) and my desktop(ethernet). so does it matter what version the router is? Like if i bought an 802.11b router and had an 802.11a card, would they work together or not?
