Tranceaddict.com is like my home. Every time i'm online, I'm always on these forums. Got some cool people around, and its really funny to discuss all the numerous topic that we get in debates over.

What I want to ask you guys is to do me, and i'm sure some other TA's, a favor. Is there a possibility that you guys can create a forum for us? What i'm trying to say is this. We have main music, chill out, cd/reviews, humor, sports, politics.. well can we have another Music Forum in which we can discuss other genres of music such as hip-hop, metal, classic rock, alternative and punk?

The reason why i ask you guys to do this, is due to the fact that TA are the only forums i frequent. Everything else sucks. Also, I'm tired of ignorant fools and those who lack an open mind, insulting me every time i post a thread in CD/Reviews that deals with an EP, LP, or a Cd that is not EDM. Please guys, I think that this would be a really good idea. It will minimize all the threads in main discussion of people attacking hip-hop/rap.. and it will also give us TAs a chance to discuss other genres that we love.

the previous management position on this is "this is tranceaddict, if u wish to talk about other music styles, there are other forums out there".

i doubt this has changed, but theres only really swamper who can answer it, but personally id say it hasnt changed.

i agree with this one. it would prevent eventual taking over of the music discussion forum by non-electronic music (not that this is any remotely possible in a near future), while still keeping the community as a whole.

i'd say 25% of TA's don't care anymore for trance (even if most still remain in the electronic field of course), but keep posting cause the community is good. i believe this kind of subforum would actually make music discussion more focused on trance again.

there's the argument of "we have already enough forums", but i don't see how gaming or FAQ's or humour or sports are any more important than this

exactly,... this would only lead to the beginning of the end of the actual trance that made us what we are,... lets stay focused on why we all came here in the first place.....

My situation with prog/epic stuff actually

We've got a good community here, wouldn't be possible to make a sub-forum in the music discussion forum for music other than trance/EDM?
