i'm not that clean obsessed but some things just gross me out, and not using sheets on a bed is gross.

THIS is a futon here in Brazil... and that thing you showed us is a couch-bed aswell Now you're going to tell me you guys don't use kilometers to measure speed, celsius to measure temperature and you put the day between the month and the year when writing dates? j/k, but these things are illogical to us outside north america.
