Small world. You used to live in Central FL. I haven't come across too many people on TA that can say they remember the Firestone days. Wow. Firestone, Simons, Thee Fantasy Ranch, etc. Those were the days. There are some good clubs around currently, but nothing can touch the energy that was in the club scene back then. The scene was insane. Icon is still around, but it just can't compare. Even HOB is different.

if you want better feedback on your mixes, try out the amateur dj section that's not too far down the list of forums, the dj's and producers on this site are pretty much top notch anyway, so ignore the 'amateur' bit and you'll probably find more people who like your mixes and maybe find people who's mixes you enjoy also

Trancebrat, I spent many nights at Firestone and the Edge. Those were great times. I had the opertunity to play Firestone with Scott Dixon (Voyager) once. It was a dream come true. I was a monthly resident at Icon in 1997... I was a Rollins kid. A bunch of my friends worked at Underground Record Source. I worked at Deuce for about a year. Ahhhh, the memories... Orlando is where I fell in love with EDM especially progressive.

The Edge! So many good clubs and good parties to go to back then. I guess it's a good thing that it all died down. I needed a break.
